Today we have received more information on the upcoming Huawei P9. Huawei has had an amazing year and is looking to start off the year with a bang in its P9 handset.

According to earlier reports, the Huawei P9 carries a 5.2-inch display, the Kirin 950 SoC and 4GB of RAM. The new leak exposed details on all three P9 models, the standard P9, the P9 Lite and the P9 Max. Based on the leak, the Huawei P9 will indeed have a 5.2-inch display. The P9 Lite will sport a 5-inch display and the P9 Max will have a super large 6.8-inch screen.

Onboard the Huawei P9 will be the previously rumored Kirin 950 SoC. A 13MP camera lens will be included on the back and the front side. Most notably, the new report indicates a possible 6GB of RAM, which would be the most on any smartphone to date. From a design standpoint, the P9 is expected to include a metal body similar to that on other high-end Huawei models.

Unlike the previous report that indicated a March release, analyst Pan Jiutang expects to see the device pop-up at CES 2016 this week. If this stands true, we’re looking at a late March or early April launch.
