LG K530 and K535 could be new additions to the budget-friendly K-series

LG is stirring up new additions to its K-series of budget-friendly smartphones. The K530 and K535 were both benchmarked on Geekbench just a few days ago.

One of the leaked handsets has model number K530. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor from Qualcomm with 2GB of RAM. The Adreno 505 GPU is onboard, which should provide average graphic performance. The best part about the handset is that it runs Android 6.0.1, Google’s very latest software version.

LG’s K535 runs the same processor as the K530, but has an extra GB of RAM at 3GB. This should have made for a slightly better score in the benchmark test, although it happened to be the other way around (we’re not sure why). The handset is also expected to have Android 6.0.1 pre-loaded.

Both smartphones have no release date set just yet, and have not leaked in any images. Therefore, it’s reasonable to assume that we’re still a ways from an official launch. Stay tuned to Talk Android as always for future updates as they arrive.
