The Beats Fit Pro noise canceling wireless earbuds are 20 percent off at Amazon
Beats Fit Pro earbuds in the three newest colors have dropped back down to their best price in a deal on Amazon. The true-wireless, noise canceling headphones are 20 percent off for the Volt Yellow, Coral Pink and Tidal Blue designs, making them just $ 160. These popular earbuds normally go for $ 200, so you’d be saving $ 40. If those options are too vibrant for your style, there’s a 10 percent discount on other, subtler colors as well. That includes Beats Black, Beats White, Sage Gray and Stone Purple, which are all just $ 180 with the current deal.
Beats Fit Pro buds are a great choice for both Apple and Android users, especially if you’re looking for reliable workout earbuds. They’re among the best wireless earbuds you can get today, and our favorite for fitness. With an IPX4 water resistance rating, they’ll hold up against sweat and splashes of water, like light rain. They have comfortable silicone ear tips and secure-fit wings that are meant to keep them in position in your ear. Beats Fit Pro earbuds are also equipped with Active Noise Canceling and Spatial Audio so you can really get in the zone.
As for battery life, they achieve up to 6 hours of listening, which can be extended to as much as 24 hours with the charging case. Apple’s new Beats Studio headphones could support personalized spatial audio
It has been more than five years since Beats last refreshed its top-end Studio headphones, but a new model could be on the way. According to 9to5Mac, Apple is “about” to launch a set of Beats Studio Pro headphones. The new model reportedly features a custom Beats chip that promises improved active noise cancellation and transparency mode performance. For the first time, the Studio line may also feature personalized spatial audio. Additionally, 9to5Mac speculates the new model will come with a USB-C port for fast charging.
Visually, the headphones look similar to the current Studio3 model, though it appears Apple has done away with the “Studio” branding found on the side of those headphones. Based on codenames found by 9to5Mac in the internal files for iOS 16.5’s release candidate, Apple collaborated with fashion designer Samuel Ross, best known for starting the clothing label A-Cold-Wall, on the design of the Beats Studio Pro. Images the outlet found in those same files suggest Apple will offer the headphones in four colorways: blue, black, brown and white.
It’s unclear if Apple intends for the Beats Studio Pro to replace the $ 349 Studio3 headphones, or if the company plans to market them as a more premium offering. According to 9to5, Apple is also working on a set of Studio Buds+. They will reportedly support audio sharing, automatic device switching and Hey Siri integration. The outlet suggests both products will arrive in stores soon.

Apple's Beats Fit Pro wireless earbuds are a good option for folks who dislike the fit of regular AirPods, but don't want to pay the price for AirPods Pro. If you've been waiting for a deal on them, now's the time to act because they're back on sale at an all time low price of $ 145 (28 percent off) at Woot.

The Beats Fit Pro scored a solid 87 Engadget review score based on their excellent ANC performance, good sound quality and comfort. For the latter, the "fit wing" tip can bend to a wide range of ear shapes while keeping the buds firmly in place. They also offer physical buttons to answer calls, control volume, play/pause music and skip tracks.
The sound quality is "balanced and powerful" with punchy bass as you'd expect with Beats earphones, while also offering great clarity. They support Apple's spatial audio, giving you the ability to listen to Dolby Atmos Music content in Apple Music, or TV/movies on Apple TV. They also have Adaptive EQ that adjusts low- and mid-range frequencies depending on ambient sound to keep audio quality consistent. The ANC is powered by Apple's H1 chip and does a good job of blocking distractions.
The main downside is the $ 200 price, double that of the regular AirPods, but at $ 145, they're one of the cheaper wireless ANC earbuds from a major brand. Bear in mind that while Woot is owned by Amazon, it doesn't have the same return policy. If you do want a pair of 2nd-gen Apple AirPods Pro wireless ANC earphones, those are still on sale for $ 200 at Amazon.

Sonicware’s latest groovebox is made for lofi beats
You know that lofi beats have taken over when companies are designing entire instruments around them. Sonicware has introduced the Liven Lofi-12, a groovebox devoted to producing subdued tracks. The machine centers around a 16-bit, 12/24kHz sampling engine with a 12-bit sampler mode that gives any sound that “genuine” lofi vibe. You can’t just recreate the effect with a bit crusher or similar tools, the company claims.
You’ll also find a “laid-back” knob to introduce a delay, as well as 11 track and eight master effects that can introduce cassette or vinyl simulations as well as common modifications like distortion, high/low pass filters and reverb. Pattern presets help you get started, too. A four-track sequencer includes options to lock parameters and sound changes. You’ll find MIDI and 3.5mm ports for both input and output. You can use the groovebox with either an AC charger (not included) or AA batteries.
The Liven Lofi-12 is available now for $ 239. You may want to spring for Sonicware’s SmplTrek if you’re more interested in a general-purpose beatmaker than devoting your energy to a specific sound. This is more feature-laden than rivals like the Korg Volca Sample 2, mind you, and may be just what you’re looking for if you’re hoping to create tunes for one of the trendiest genres on YouTube.
