Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD get Switch release dates

Nintendo packed a whole bunch of news into Mario Day this year, including the announcement of release dates for two classics that have been modernized for the Switch: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD. Both titles were announced last fall during Nintendo Direct. Paper Mario will drop first, on May 23, followed by Luigi’s Mansion on June 27, but both are available for pre-order now on the Nintendo Switch store for $ 60.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door was first released for the GameCube (deep breath) 20 years ago, and Nintendo says the new Switch version will have “revamped graphics, and a suite of additional changes that make the game easier than ever to enjoy.” Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, which you may remember as Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, originally came out for the 3DS in 2013. Now that just leaves the first Luigi’s Mansion that we’re still waiting on for Switch…

Alongside the games’ release dates, Nintendo also announced that it’s working on a followup to last year’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie. That’s set to come out in 2026. Lego and Nintendo also announced three new Mario-themed Lego sets that will be released this year — the Bowser Express Train, King Boo’s Haunted Mansion and Battle with Roy at Peach’s Castle — and a Mario Kart set that will drop in 2025.

Expiration dates for access now applicable to files on Google Drive

Google’s productivity suite is very popular around the world because of its easy setup and ability to allow remote collaboration from anywhere. Everyone from students to business executives are using Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides to get things done. Much of what we do here at Talk Android is actually completed using Google Drive. People like staying exactly where they’re comfortable while working remotely with others.

This week, Google announced that expiration dates for access to files is rolling out now.

When sharing files, a new option appears on the list of people with access. It shows a small clock icon to the right of an individual’s name. Selecting that clock brings up a selection of times for file access to last, which you’re able to set manually if 7 or 30 days isn’t a fit.

Here is Google’s example:

For instance, imagine your business hires an outside contractor for a project lasting three months. To complete the job, that contractor needs to view a spreadsheet containing the contact information of your employees. Following this launch, you’ll be able to share your employee list in Sheets with the contractor, give them view access only, and set that access to expire when their contract does (in three months). If the contractor attempts to open the spreadsheet after the expiration date has passed, they’ll be denied access.

Although it has already started rolling out, you may not see the feature until late in the second quarter of 2016. Google says it is it is gradually rolling out the feature to all users over the course of 2-3 months.

Best Buy has launched their pre-order page for the LG G4 and in an effort to entice buyers to stop by one of their stores instead of going directly to the carriers, they are offering a $ 100 gift card with the purchase of the G4. That could be useful for users who want to add a case or car charger or some other accessory to their order. The pre-order page also lists release dates for several carriers and colors of the smartphone.

As previously suspected, Verizon versions of the LG G4 will be available starting June 4th. Best Buy is listing Metallic Gray, Ceramic White and Deep Blue versions for Verizon for $ 199.99 with a two-year contract.

The next day the Sprint version of the G4 will be available in gray or blue or with the new leather back in black. AT&T will have the same options available through Best Buy, but their version will not be released until June 12th. Potential buyers may also note that the AT&T version can only be bought using the AT&T Next program or for full retail.
