Twitter has finally made a Fabric app to track mobile statistics
Twitter’s Fabric is a mobile development toolkit and today they have announced a new app. In the past, developers were forced to check Fabric on their computers, but now should be excited to hear that they can view all the stats from their mobile device.
Developers will be able to keep track of the health of their app, see its monthly active users, discover crashes affecting specific users, and more. This should be helpful for developers while on the go or when out of the office.
It also features push notifications about important issues, for example, if your app starts running into major problems like crashing. However, it won’t send you literally every single real-time issue, so don’t worry about being overloaded with notifications. You can also control the notifications for each app. Every alert can also be muted for a few hours if needed.
If you use Fabric to track mobile statistics, you should definitely check out the mobile app. It is available in the App Store or the Play Store,

Gordon Ramsay is the first celebrity chef to partner with Glu Mobile for a new game
Are your feelings hurt? They will be soon. Glue Mobile has teamed up with Gordon Ramsay to create a new mobile game.
At the moment, that is really all we know. However, I can only assume it will be a cooking game staring Gordon Ramsay. Maybe you are the chef and Gordon Ramsay teaches you to become great, or maybe you are Gordon Ramsay battling other chefs, who knows?
I can only hope it features Gordon Ramsay going crazy, screaming, and swearing at you just like he does on his TV shows. I also really hope it has classic Gordon Ramsay lines for when you make a mistake like, “I wish you’d jump in the oven! That would make my life a lot easier!”, “I don’t think you’re f***ing capable of running a bath, let alone a restaurant!”, or the classic “Congratulations!… on the worst dish in this competition so far”. Any hilarious sayings like these are sure to make it go straight to the top of the Play Store.
Whatever Glu Mobile does is sure to be huge. Gordon Ramsay is their first celebrity chef partnership, but they have worked with many other big names. For example, they created the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game.
We are not sure if Gordon Ramsay will have any say in making the game, but they will have exclusive agreements covering Ramsay’s name, image, likeness, voice, and creative direction. The game is said to be released this summer.

You can now save images to folders within Google image search on mobile
What do you normally do when you find the perfect image? Probably save it, take a screenshot, bookmark the webpage? Well now there is an easier way. Google has just made things a lot easier by allowing the ability to star and bookmark images right from Google’s image search on mobile.
Simply search for the image you want and tap the star to bookmark it. You can store all your saved images in custom folders making them very easy to find again.
Currently, this feature is available in the US on all major mobile browsers on Android and iOS. Just make sure you are signed into your Google Account in order to star images.

LG confirms that it’s working on a mobile payment system
LG has just confirmed that it’s currently working on a mobile payment system, which it hopes will challenge both Android and Samsung Pay. Unfortunately, no details were given with regards to when the service will launch, but recent speculation suggests that there will be an opt-in public beta test in South Korea next month.
Judging from the details provided by LG in its official statement, it looks like its payment platform is set to support MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) and NFC (Near Field Communication), which will deliver an identical tap-to-pay experience to Samsung Pay. However, LG claims its service will excel in terms of software.
Not only is it boasting that the service will be more convenient than its competitors, but the South Korean company also claims that it will be more versatile and functional due to the application’s extremely intuitive, easy-to-use interface.

Google is working on a way to speed up mobile websites
Everyone likes being able to browse the internet using their phone, but no one likes waiting for the pages to load. Google realizes this as well and are working on what they call Accelerated Mobile Pages. This is said to drastically speed up mobile web browsing.
It uses a AMP HTML, which is a new type of open framework that is said to allow websites to build webpages that load faster. A huge amount of mega size companies are already getting in on the action. Just some of the companies involved are Twitter, Pinterest, WordPress and many more. All of them plan on adding AMP HTML pages to their websites.
Google says in the coming months they will be working with other participants in the project to build more features and functionality focused on some key areas:

Content: Publishers increasingly rely on rich content like image carousels, maps, social plug-ins, data visualizations, and videos to make their stories more interactive and stand out. They also need to implement ads and analytics in order to monetize the content and to understand what their readers like and dislike. The Accelerated Mobile Pages Project provides an open source approach, allowing publishers to focus on producing great content, while relying on the shared components for high performance and great user experience. The initial technical specification—developed with input and code from our partners in the publishing and technology sectors—is being released today on GitHub.

Distribution: Publishers want people to enjoy the great journalism they create anywhere and everywhere, so stories or content produced in Spain can be served in an instant across the globe in, say, Chile. That means distribution across all kinds of devices and platforms is crucial. So, as part of this effort, we’ve designed a new approach to caching that allows the publisher to continue to host their content while allowing for efficient distribution through Google’s high performance global cache. We intend to open our cache servers to be used by anyone free of charge.

Advertising: Ads help fund free services and content on the web. With Accelerated Mobile Pages, we want to support a comprehensive range of ad formats, ad networks and technologies. Any sites using AMP HTML will retain their choice of ad networks, as well as any formats that don’t detract from the user experience. It’s also a core goal of the project to support subscriptions and paywalls. We’ll work with publishers and those in the industry to help define the parameters of an ad experience that still provides the speed we’re striving for with AMP.

So to bring you an even better mobile experience, we’re updating the official YouTube apps – making it easier than ever to find videos you love and create them, too.
The update – available now on Android, mobile web, and soon on iOS – introduces three new tabs:
- Home: Easily explore and discover videos you’ll love with recommendations based on your watch history as well as playlists personalized just for you.
- Subscriptions: Find the latest videos from your favorite channels and creators on the new Subscriptions tab. And to help make sure you never miss an upload, you can now tap the bell icon on the channels you love to get a notification as soon as a new video is posted.
- Account: Check out your playlists, watch history, and the videos you’ve uploaded all in one spot.

You can also now watch full-screen vertical videos with just a single tap for the very first time.
But YouTube isn’t just about enjoying videos; it’s a place to express yourself and show the world what you love. With the redesigned app you can take your creativity to new levels using a new set of video creation tools. You’ve got an amazing camera in your phone or tablet, and now you can trim your footage, tint the image with filters, add music, and upload – all inside the app.
