Besides unveiling its 30-Day Network Guarantee allowing customers to cancel their contracts with no-strings-attached, Vodafone UK has also announced that the LG G5 is now available for purchase for just £9 upfront for the handset on a variety of tariffs. Join us after the break for more details.
After paying the £9 upfront fee, you can either choose the Vodafone Red Bundle that brings unlimited texts, unlimited minutes and 2GB of 4G data for £34, or the Red Value Bundle that brings an increased 4G data allowance of 4GB, as well as a choice of 6 months free access to Sky Sports Mobile TV or Spotify Premium, or a NOW TV Entertainment Pass.
Regardless of whether you choose the Red Bundle or the Red Value Bundle, the first 3,000 customers will also receive a free LG CAM Plus. Sprint is bringing their stronger, faster LTE Plus network to 77 markets
Sprint has announced a revamped LTE services to deploy to markets with a significantly improved wireless experience for customers. This new network is deploying to 77 markets today, and it offers some notable new technologies that should make a world of difference for Sprint customers.
LTE Plus utilizes all three of Sprint’s bands of spectrum, using the 2.5 GHz band for speed, the 1.9 GHz band for coverage, and the 800 MHz band for building penetration. Carrier aggregation allows LTE Plus to bond multiple spectrums together to beef up the bandwidth and speed available to users, and Sprint claims the new network doubles both of those. Pretty impressive, especially considering that claim means capable devices can reach theoretical speeds of up to 100Mbps on that network.
The biggest claim that LTE Plus can make? It’s faster than Verizon and AT&T’s LTE network. Third party testing in 44 of the biggest markets show that data is transferred faster on Sprint’s LTE Plus network than Verizon or AT&T’s LTE network, which should give Sprint’s marketing department some serious ammunition to work with.

Apple Announces Record iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Sales
Apple has announced it has sold more than 13 million new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus models, a new record, just three days after launch. iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be available in more than 40 additional countries beginning October 9 including Italy, Mexico, Russia, Spain, and Taiwan. The new iPhones will be available in over 130 countries by the end of the year. “Sales for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have been phenomenal, blowing past any previous first weekend sales results in Apple’s history,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “Customers’ feedback is incredible and they are loving 3D Touch and Live Photos, and we can’t wait to bring iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to customers in even more countries on October 9.”

Huawei Honor 4C Plus expected to launch on September 14th
Next week, Huawei is expected to launch an upgrade to its Honor 4C handset dubbed the Honor 4C Plus. The handset will include a slightly improved design along with a bump to specifications.
The Honor 4C Plus will improve upon the Honor 4C in a few ways. It’s expected to include a 5-inch display (720 x 1280) powered by a Kirin 620 SoC with an octa-core 1.2 GHz CPU and 2GB of RAM. A 13MP camera is expected to be included at the back and an 8MP camera on the front side. It will include 16GB of internal storage space which is double its counterpart which had only 8GB. A 2550 mAh battery will try and last the full length of your day. It’s currently unknown whether the handset will include the company’s KitKat-based Emotion UI or a new Lollipop-based UI. We should find out more on September 14.
